Geotouristic initiatives development.

Ecochacras propels the development of the destination communities based on the respect for nature, in the usage of renewable energy and in the sustainability both food and economic sustainability.

It provides politics formation and technical training for the constant application of the three “R” of ecology: reduce, reuse and recycle. Responsible tourism. Fair tourism.
This model means benefits for the local community, and for the visitors who can live the experience. At the same time, contributes greatly to the preservation of cultural diversity and biodiversity. It is planned based on the principles of Fair Trade.

In the geo-tourism there’s an increasing awareness to get involved with the cultural and natural resources of high quality. Pleasure, relaxation and knowledge paradises, with full enjoyment of "the taste and knowledge" of nature.

The virtuous circle of sustainable benefit it’s based on creative projects which lead the community to rediscover its best values, its identity and its culture, developing its potential, turning them into actors in the cultural event that will show the visitor and that will allow both their own personal and communal development.

Principles of the Fair Trade:

* Shortens the productive, commercial and industrial chain, eliminating excessive intermediation and speculation, to get fair prices and avoid excessive profits in any part of the chain.

* It’s based and built on social solidarity relations, not for speculation or profit, favors producers and final consumers.

* Promotes social rights and public awareness by providing complete product information and its ingredients.

* Fosters the sense of social co-responsibility between all those involved in the productive and commercial chains, ensuring the balanced development, non-exclusive.

* It’s a model that starts from the problems and needs of the goods and services producers, but that takes under consideration the needs of the consumers of the same, promoting a fair relationship between quality and price.

* It’s about the fair recognition of the value of work and the quality of the products that social groups of small producers launch to the exchange.

* It’s not charity or paternalistic support. Simplifies that the small producers can use and have, stably, economic and commercial instruments that gives them permanency and allows them to confront the competition in the markets.

* Fair trade is part of the sustainable, ecological, economical, social and cultural models, based on social justice, democracy, respect to the cultural diversity, adequate handling of natural resources and respect to the bio-diversity.
